This year 2013, we continue to improve and innovate with new training systems for our students and members. Women's Power Hour
High-intensity cardio-strength exercise class that challenges every muscle of your body. Explosive, metabolic exercises timed to high-energy music keep the pace going at various levels. Develop incredible stamina, bodyweight strength, agility, reflexes, core strength and coordination through a unique combination of martial arts movements and functional strength training drills. Every Friday at 10:00 am at our main gym.
CATS (Cardio, Aerobics, Technique, Strength) Training
Available only at our Liangmaqiao location in the Chaoyang Park area, this unique and highly effective training method melds cardio and aerobic exercises with technical martial arts drills and strength training, which gives students an option between weight training and swimming. Unique, intense and highly effective, the CATS training at Black Tiger Club (Chaoyang Park) will whip you into shape in just a matter of weeks! No other martial arts training system in China can rival this program!
Mondays to Thursdays (7:00 to 8:30 pm) and Sundays (2:00 to 3:30 pm)
The "Beast" Workout
Bodyweight training, if done properly and progressively, will improve your overall athleticism significantly and build strength and muscular endurance. It allows for a more natural range of motion and doesn't stress your joints the way traditional weight training does. The "Beast" Workout is a compilation of bodyweight strength and endurance exercises originally developed for combat sports athletes, gymnasts and swimmers. How strong are you? Take the "Beast" Workout Challenge and you'll know... This program will be incorporated into our regular classes and personal training sessions.
What distinguishes MMA from Muay Thai, Wrestling, Jiujitsu, Judo, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Boxing and other combat sports is the "ground and pound" factor: the ability to strike at your opponent while engaged in a clinch, grapple, or wrapped up in a grounded position. This skill requires its own muscular strength, endurance and technical skills which combine striking and wrestling. Using unconventional training equipment such as sandbags, grappling dummies, resistance bands, weighted vests and medicine balls, the Black Tiger Ground-and-Pound training will challenge and improve your core strength, muscular endurance, balance and agility unlike any workout you've ever experienced! This training is incorporated into the MMA classes on Saturdays at 10:30 am at Riviera Plaza, and on Sundays at 2:00 pm at Maizidian.
Black Tiger instructors give back to the community by hosting a free self-defense workshop. Ranging from basic hand-to-hand self-defense techniques to knife-fighting and gun disarmament, this workshop is definitely for the faint of heart who are ready to take the first essential step to toughness!
